DJ Gu
DJ Gu is the stage name of songwriter/producer Gustavo da Silva Pussi, a
Brazilian funk producer whose catalog has largely been built through
collaborative singles with São Paulo’s new-school MC circuit. He began surfacing
publicly in the early 2020s with releases credited alongside vocalists,
including “A Favela Tá na Cena” with MC Tuto (2022), then continued placing his
tag on street-rooted cuts such as “O Gigante Acordou” with MC Wesley Boladão
(2022). In 2023 he stayed close to the same circle, producing “O Foco É o Mesmo”
(2023) and maintaining a sound focused on hard percus...
