Daniel Robert Kausman, born 13 October 1972 in England, is a British DJ and
producer known as DJ Die. After growing up in Barnstaple and moving to Bristol
in 1985, he developed an early interest in house and hardcore, partnering with
Jody Wisternoff and performing with the free‑party sound system Circus Warp. His
first breakthrough came through a 1992 encounter with Roni Size at Replay
Records, leading to collaborations such as "Music Box" for Full Cycle Recordings
