Dimensión Latina, a Venezuelan salsa orchestra founded in 1972, by Oscar D'León
and Víctor Cuica, emerged from the Caracas music scene. The group's initial
lineup included César Monges, José Antonio Rojas, José Rodríguez, Elio Pacheco,
and Enrique Iriarte. Their debut performance took place at La Distinción in
Caracas, featuring covers of Mon Rivera, Eddie Palmieri, and Willie Colón. In
1972, they released their first single, "Pensando en ti", as part of Víctor
Mendoza's production for El Clan de Víctor. The following year saw the release
