Dilbert Aguilar y su Orquesta La Tribu is a Peruvian cumbia group led by
singer-songwriter Dilbert Aguilar (Esladi Edilberto Aguilar Fernández), born in
Jaén, Cajamarca in 1974. Aguilar formed his own group in 1999 under the name
Agua Dulce, then rebranded it in 2000 as Orquesta La Tribu, with Aguilar as lead
vocalist and the central public face of the project. The early repertoire was
built around fan staples like “Vuela palomita” and “Mis últimas lágrimas,” and
