Diego Frenkel
Diego Alejandro Frenkel Visser, known as Diego Frenkel, is an Argentine singer,
musician, and composer of Jewish origin who began his musical career in the
early 1980s. In 1982, he formed Madre Noche, and in 1984 he co-founded Clap, a
new wave and funk band where he performed as guitarist and vocalist. In 1989,
Frenkel formed La Portuaria, a pop-rock group that gained wider exposure at the
1990 Mi Buenos Aires Rock festival and became known for songs such as
