Die Sterne
Die Sterne are a German indie pop band from Hamburg. The band reached its
commercial peak at the turn of the millennium, when albums such as Wo ist hier
(1999) and Irres Licht (2002) reached the top 40 in Germany. Singer and
guitarist Frank Spilker initially founded Die Sterne in 1987 as a side project.
When bassist Thomas Wenzel and drummer Christoph Leich joined, the band was
officially founded in 1991. They sign with the German label L'Age D'Or. Die
Sterne released their debut album Wichtig on this label in 1993, followed by In
