Die Happy
Die Happy is a band from Germany founded in 1993. Stylistically, the band falls
within the genres of alternative metal and alternative rock, with influences
from nu metal, crossover, and post-grunge. The founding members include
guitarist Thorsten Mewes, bassist Julian Rosenthal, drummer Marcus Heinzmann,
and singer Marta Jandová. Their first releases—Better Than Nothing (1994), Dirty
Flowers (1996), and Promotion (1997)—initially received little attention. In
1998, Die Happy won the Baden-Württemberg rockt competition for up-and-coming
