Didier Marouani, born on July 14, 1953, in Monaco, is a French composer and
musician known by the stage name Ecama. He began a career composing for French
artists at age 17, collaborating with Étienne Roda-Gil to write songs for
Nicoletta and Régine. In 1974, Marouani released an album arranged by
Jean-Claude Vannier. Following this, he embarked on tours supporting Johnny
Hallyday, Claude François, and Joe Dassin. In 1977, he founded the electronic
