Deenya Kaye Rose, born January 2 1943, in Bronaugh, Missouri, is an American
country singer whose career began in the early 1970s when she signed with United
Artists Records and released the single "Biff, The Friendly Purple Bear" that
reached the Top Twenty Five; the same year she issued his debut album Dick
Feller Wrote…. In 1974 she signed with Asylum Records and issued "Makin' The
Best Of A Bad Situation", which climbed to the Top Fifteen, while her subsequent
