Dick de Graaf
Dick de Graaf, born on November 17, 1954, in Nijkerk, Netherlands, is a Dutch
modern jazz musician who began his musical education on the flute before
switching to tenor saxophone during his linguistics studies. After completing
studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory from 1980 to 1985, he gained early
recognition in the Amstel Octets and as a member of various big bands, while
also recording his own quartet’s album Hot, Hazy and Humid. He has toured
