Diblo Dibala, born on August 9, 1954 in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the
Congo, is a Soukous musician known for his exceptional guitar skills and his
work as a studio guitarist on numerous African music productions. He gained
prominence as a solo guitarist with Kanda Bongo Man in the 1980s after playing
with Franco's TPOK Jazz and groups like Vox Africa and Bella Bella Orchestra. In
1986, Dibala left Kanda Bongo Man to join Loketo, where he collaborated with
