Di Derre, a Norwegian pop rock band, was formed in 1992. The group initially
consisted of Jo Nesbø on vocals and guitar, Magnus Larsen Jr. on bass guitar and
vocals, Knut Nesbø on vocals and guitar, and Sverre Beyer on drums, with Halvor
Holter later joining on keyboards and Espen Stenhammer becoming the drummer
after Beyer’s death in 2002. Their breakthrough came with their second album,
Kvinner & klær (1994), later reissued as Jenter & Sånn. The band later released
Gym (1996) and Slå Meg På! (Popmusikk) (1998), which became one of their most
well-received albums.
