Dewi Lestari
Dewi Lestari Simangunsong, known mononymously as Dewi Lestari or Dee, was born
on January 20, 1976, in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. She began her musical
journey by providing backing vocals for artists such as Chrisye. In 1993, she
formed the girl group RSD (Rida Sita Dewi) with friends Rida Farida and Sita
Nursanti, releasing three albums and a greatest hits album on Warna Musik and
Sony Music. Lestari's solo career began in 2006 with the release of her debut
