Def P & Beatbusters was a Dutch musical collaboration formed in 2001. The group
consisted of rapper Pascal Griffioen, known as Def P, and the ska ensemble
Beatbusters. The project established a style termed "skank-hop," merging hip hop
with ska and reggae. Its debut studio recording, Aangenaam, appeared in 2001 and
was produced by Frans Hendriks. The single “Bubbelbad” reached number 11 on the
Dutch Top 40. Following the success of the recording, the group performed at
