Debbie
Ria Schildmeyer, known professionally as Debbie and born on July 20, 1954 in
Haarlem, is a Dutch singer. She began her musical journey as a singer in 1967
with the group Ghizlane, releasing her first single "Flower Power Rock" under
Gert Timmerman’s label. In 1972 she launched a solo career that produced the EP
Everybody Join Hands, featuring the Giorgio Moroder composition "Everybody Join
Hands" and the hit "Angelino", and later the album It Takes Two in 1982 with
