Deas Vail was an American alternative rock band formed in Russellville, Arkansas
in 2003. They self-released their first album This Place Is Painted Red (2005)
and signed to Brave New World Records later that year. Their debut EP Collapse
was released in 2006 and sold over 2,500 units through touring alone. They
released their first full-length album on an indie label, All the Houses Look
the Same (2007). Notable performances included slots at Bonnaroo and a
