Deadstar Assembly, an American industrial metal band, was formed in 2001 in Fort
Lauderdale, Florida. The group was founded by Dearborn and techno producer Luis
Duran, who collaborated with MuBo on keyboards. Their debut show took place on
March 30, 2002, at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale. The band's self-titled
debut album, released in 2002, featured a cover of "Send Me An Angel" by Real
