Dead Rooster
Dead Rooster, a Ukrainian rock band formed in 1989 in Lviv by Lyubomyr Futorsky,
began their journey with an acoustic sound. Their first concert was held at the
Vyvyh festival in 1990. The band's debut album Ето was released in 1992,
following their win at the Chervona Ruta festival. Throughout the 1990s, Dead
Rooster evolved into a grunge/art-rock band, known for incorporating lyrics from
prominent Ukrainian poets such as Yuriy Andrukhovych and Taras Shevchenko.
