Dead Poetic was an American rock band from Dayton, Ohio, formed in 1997 by
vocalist Brandon Rike, guitarist Zach Miles, and brothers Chad and Josh
Shellabarger. The group formed in a local church where the members taught
themselves to play instruments. The band self-released the EP Invasion in 1999.
After signing with Solid State Records, the group released the debut album Four
Wall Blackmail in 2002.The band achieved further recognition with the 2004 album
