Deacon the Villain
Willis Garnett Polk II, known professionally by his stage name Deacon the
Villain, is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer from
Versailles, Kentucky, born on May 21, 1979. Raised in a Baptist family by a
pastor father, he attended Woodford County High School with activist Shaun King
before they became roommates at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. Polk held
open mic events on campus and met producer Kno in 1999 at an Atlanta club event,
