Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known professionally as D'Banj, was born on June 9,
1980, in Zaria, Nigeria. He is a Nigerian singer who began his musical journey
after being introduced to the harmonica by his late older brother. His debut
album, No Long Thing, released in March 2005, marked his breakthrough with
singles like "Tongolo" and established his stage persona as the Kokomaster.
D'Banj's second album, RunDown Funk U Up (2006), featured hits such as "Why
