Dayna Kurtz is an American singer-songwriter whose music blends jazz, folk, pop,
and blues. She began her career performing in the independent circuit in the
early 1990s and released her debut album in 2002, Postcards from Downtown, which
features the string quartet ETHEL. In 2004, she recorded a duet with Norah Jones
of Duke Ellington’s “I Got It Bad and That Ain’t Good” on her album Beautiful
