Dayang Nurfaizah
The Malaysian singer Dayang Nurfaizah was born in Kuching, Sarawak in 1981. Her
self-titled debut album, released in 1999, was a combination of pop and R&B and
launched the singer's career in her native country.
In 2001, her track 'Seandainya Masih Ada Cinta' won an Anugerah Industri Muzik
award for 'Best Song' and was the first of many industry accolades given to the
singer during her twenty years in the Malaysian music business.
