Dawn

Dawn is a Swedish black and death metal group from Linköping, Sweden, founded in 1986 by guitarist Fredrik Söderberg. The band’s early work emerged from the local extreme metal scene, with initial demos such as Demo 1 (1992) and Apparition (1992) showcasing a blend of black‑death influences. In 1995, the band released EP Sorgh på Svarte Vingar Fløgh on Necropolis Records. The subsequent full‑length Slaughtersun (Crown of the Triarchy) followed in 1998. The band became inactive in 1999 but reformed in 2008.
