David Anthony Temple, born in 1954, is a British conductor and musical director
of Crouch End Festival Chorus and Hertfordshire Chorus. He moved to London in
1972 and joined the London Philharmonic Choir, singing as a tenor under chorus
master John Alldis. In 1984, Temple began his work with the newly formed Crouch
End Festival Chorus as its musical director. He has conducted at venues
including the Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall, Symphony Hall (Birmingham),
Royal Albert Hall, Sage Gateshead, The Roundhouse, Snape Maltings, and St Albans
