David Campbell
David Richard Campbell, born February 7, 1948, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a
Canadian-American arranger, composer, musician, and conductor. He began playing
violin at age 9 and studying orchestration at age 12, later attending the
Manhattan School of Music before moving to Los Angeles. At age 23, he performed
viola on Carole King's studio album Tapestry in 1971 and arranged her studio
album Rhymes & Reasons in 1972. Campbell has arranged and orchestrated music for
over 450 Gold and Platinum albums for artists including The Rolling Stones, Neil
Diamond, Metallica, Radiohead, D...
