Dave Pomeroy is an American bassist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer born on
April 26, 1956, in Italy. After moving to Nashville in 1977, he toured with
rockabilly musician Sleepy LaBeef and joined Don Williams' band from 1980 to
1994, later returning for performances between 2010 and 2014. In 1989, Pomeroy
founded the label Earwave Music, releasing 12 albums and two DVDs, including the
concert film The Day The Bass Players Took Over The World (1996) and solo
