The module was founded in Germany in 1994. The band was formed as a dance
project by producers Felix J. Gauder and Olaf Roberto Bossi. The first members
are the singer Yasemin Baysal and the performer Dierk Schmidt. Modul works in
the field of Eurodance and dance-pop and is one of the formative acts of the
German 1990s. The project began in 1995 with the release of the single
"Computerliebe" (1995). The song is a cover version of an NDW title and reaches
the top 10 in the German and Austrian charts as well as the top 20 in
