Darryl Pandy, born December 24 1962 in the United States, was a Chicago‑based
singer and DJ whose roots lay in Broadway and opera. After performing with the
choir of Chicago’s Church of Universal Awareness, he entered the emerging house
scene, achieving international attention with "Love Can't Turn Around" in 1986,
a track that reached Number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and helped popularise
