Darren Korb, born on November 5, 1983, in San Jose, California, is a composer,
songwriter, and voice actor known for his work in video game soundtracks. From
the age of five, Korb was involved in musical theater and continued this through
high school. His breakthrough came with Bastion, the debut game from indie
developer Supergiant Games, where he served as audio director and composer. For
Bastion, Korb handled all aspects of the game's audio, including music, sound
