Christy Brigitte Darlington is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who
was born as Chris Edward Zoys in Dallas, Texas, in 1972. She achieved
professional recognition in 1991 with the punk rock band T.B.A. and is famous
for her sarcastic, often sexually suggestive lyrics and for writing songs about
celebrities. After recording with the ensembles T.B.A. and the Voyeurs,
Darlington formed the group Mess in 1995 and released the studio recording
Pretty Ugly (1997). Following a legal dispute over the name, she launched a solo
