Danielson
Danielson, an American rock band from Clarksboro, New Jersey, was formed in 1994
by Daniel Smith and also known as Danielson Famile. After a spiritual awakening
while at Rutgers University, Smith recorded tracks that became the foundation
for the debut album A Prayer for Every Hour (1995), followed by Tell Another
Joke at the Ol' Choppin' Block (1997) and Tri-Danielson!!! (Alpha) (1998).
Subsequent albums such as Ships (2006) with Sufjan Stevens and Deerhoof, and
Best of Gloucester County (2011) on his Sounds Familyre label, broadened their
