Daniela Simmons
Daniela Simmons, born on December 9, 1959, in Perugia, Italy, is a Swiss singer.
Raised by Italian parents, her father's musical background influenced her early
interest in music. By age three, she was singing and composing songs at
thirteen. She studied piano at the Conservatoire de Lausanne. In 1984, Simmons
won La Grande Chance, a young artists' competition on Swiss television, with
"Une autre vie", which she composed herself. The following year, she recorded
her album, Shout Back, in London, which was released in 1988, and embarked on an
