English composer, songwriter, keyboard player, pianist, bass player and
synthesizer artist. He began composing at age 12, working for the video‑game
magazine Zero and later releasing his debut album Bedroom in 1994, which
attracted the attention of ambient musician Pete Namlook and led to a contract
