Daniel Moore
Daniel Joseph Moore, born January 6, 1941, in Walla Walla, Washington, is an
American singer, songwriter, and producer whose career spans country, pop, and
rock. After early songwriting work, Moore co‑wrote "My Maria" with B. W.
Stevenson, which became a pop hit in 1973 and a country hit in 1996 when
recorded by Brooks & Dunn; he also wrote "Shambala", recorded by Stevenson and
Three Dog Night the same year. His early album, Daniel Moore, was released in
