Danger Doom was a United States hip‑hop supergroup formed by producer Danger
Mouse and MC MF DOOM, both established figures in alternative and underground
rap. Their collaboration began after prior joint efforts such as “Social
Distortion” and a remix of Zero 7’s “Somersault,” and culminated in the release
of their debut album The Mouse and the Mask on 11 October 2005 under the Adult
Swim–backed label. The record featured characters from Adult Swim cartoons,
