Dane Bowers, born on November 28, 1979, in Croydon, South London, is a British
singer. He was educated at Cumnor House School and Trinity School of John
Whitgift before enrolling at the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology.
After graduating, Bowers joined the boy band Another Level, where he performed
from 1997 to 2000. The group achieved significant success with seven top 10
singles in the UK, including "Freak Me" which reached Number 1 in 1998, and a
platinum-selling self-titled debut album. Their follow-up album, Nexus, released
