Dale Barlow
Dale Barlow, born December 25, 1959, in Sydney, Australia, is an Australian jazz
saxophonist, flautist, and composer. After brief studies at the Sydney
Conservatorium of Music, he moved to New York in the early 1980s, joining the
Cedar Walton Quartet and Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and studying under
George Coleman and Dave Liebman. He released a series of albums in the 1990s and
early 2000s on labels such as Criss Cross Jazz and Spiral Scratch. He earned an
