Evelyn van Ophuisen (January 30, 1944), professionally known as Daisy Door, is a
German schlager music singer from Duisburg. During her childhood, she performed
on Radio Cologne with her sister Liane as the duo Li & Eve, who released a
handful of commercial singles between 1964 and 1966. After adopting the stage
name Daisy Door, she made her official debut as a solo artist with the 1967
single "Curry." Mainstream success finally arrived in 1971 when the Peter
