Peter Andersen, known professionally as DQ, was born on February 16, 1973, in
Køge, and is a Danish singer and drag queen. He began performing drag shows in
1997 while studying hairdressing. That same year, he launched his singing career
with the band Tina Turner Jam, which made its live debut at Pumpehuset in
Copenhagen. In 1998, he released the single "MissTerious", followed by the album
