Cute is What We Aim For was an American pop-punk band from Buffalo, New York.
Formed in January 2005 by childhood friends Shaant Hacikyan, Jeff Czum, Tom
Falcone and Fred Cimato, the group gained exposure through demos on Myspace and
PureVolume. Their breakthrough came with winning PureVolume's online Battle of
the Bands competition in spring 2005. In November 2005, they signed to Fueled by
Ramen. The band released their debut album The Same Old Blood Rush With a New
