Crown City Rockers
Crown City Rockers, a five-member hip hop band from Oakland, California, became
active in 1997. Initially known as Mission, they released their self-titled
debut EP in 1999 and the single "Contagious" in 2000. The group's first
full-length album, One, was released in 2001 under the name Mission. After
rebranding to Crown City Rockers, they released Earthtones in 2004, followed by
The Day After Forever in 2009. Their music is characterized by old school hip
