Crooked Lettaz
Crooked Lettaz is an American hip hop duo from Jackson, Mississippi, consisting
of Brad “Kamikaze” Franklin and Lavell “David Banner” Crump. The duo signed with
Penalty Recordings in 1998. Their early releases included the promotional single
“Caught Up in the Game” (1998) and the two-track single “Firewater” / “Get
Crunk” (1999), featuring appearances by N.O.R.E. and Pimp C of UGK. Their debut
album Grey Skies was released on April 20, 1999, and reached number 75 on the
Billboard's R&B chart. After the album’s release period, both members issued
solo recordings.
