Craig G
Craig Everett Curry, born March 24, 1973, is an American rapper. He recorded the
single "Shout Rap" with Marley Marl in 1985 at age 12 and later joined the Juice
Crew, contributing to "The Symphony" in 1988. Curry signed with Atlantic
Records, releasing The Kingpin (1989) and Now, That’s More Like It (1991). After
a quiet 1990s, he returned with This is Now!!! (2003) on D&D Records, featuring
Marley Marl, DJ Premier and Da Beatminerz. Subsequent releases include Operation
Take Back Hip‑Hop (2008), I Rap and Go Home (2016), and The World is Cooked
(2025).
