Corry Brokken
Cornelia Maria "Corry" Brokken, born on December 3, 1932, in the Netherlands,
was a singer known for her contributions to pop music and traditional pop. Her
career began with a significant breakthrough when she won the Nationaal
Songfestival 1956 with "Voorgoed voorbij", which allowed her to represent the
Netherlands in the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest alongside Jetty Paerl.
Brokken's victory at the Nationaal Songfestival 1957 with "Net als toen" secured
her a second consecutive appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest, where she
