Formed in Raleigh, North Carolina (USA) in 1982, Corrosion of Conformity's style
was heavy metal with a hardcore edge. Led by singer Woody Weatherman, the band
underwent several changes until the arrival of guitarist Pepper Keenan in 1989.
Two years later, they expanded their audience with the album Blind, followed in
1994 by Deliverance and in 1996 by Wiseblood. A pioneering stoner rock band,
C.O.C. rubs its alternative metal with sludge and doom, and even groove metal.
