Cormac de Barra, born 1972 in Dublin, Ireland, is a harpist and singer. He
studied Irish harp under his grandmother Róisín Ní Shé and later concert harp
with Leone Paulson in the United States. His breakthrough came with the album My
Match Is a Makin', released in 2010. Subsequent releases include the albums
Voices and Harps, Affinity, and Timeless. Cormac de Barra collaborated with Moya
Brennan, Anne‑Marie O'Farrell, and the Chieftains, toured extensively across
Europe, the United States, and Australia, and won the 1989 Féis Ceoil Harp
Competition.
