Comisario Pantera, formed in 2005 in Milpa Alta, Mexico, emerged from a
collaboration between vocalist‑guitarist Darío Vital and bassist‑vocalist Iván
Vidauri, joined by drummer Raúl Hernández and guitarist Roger Dávila. Their
first breakthrough came with the 2010 EP Como la vez primera, followed by the
2013 EP Éramos adolescentes, which established their presence in the Mexican
rock scene. The group released the studio album Jóvenes Ilustres in 2012,
