COLUMNA DE FUEGO
La Columna de Fuego was a Colombian progressive rock and Latin rock band formed
in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1971. Founded by drummer Roberto Fiorilli, guitarist and
bassist Jaime Rodríguez, and bassist Marco Giraldo following the disbandment of
Siglo Cero, the group soon added guitarist César Hernández and expanded into a
seven-piece ensemble with horn and percussion sections. Known for blending
jazz-rock structures with traditional Afro-Colombian rhythms from the Caribbean
and Pacific coasts, the group released their debut single, “La Joricamba” with
