Colonel Bagshot was an English rock band from Liverpool. Formed in the late
1960s, the ensemble was originally known as Colonel Bagshot's Incredible Bucket
Band. The group began as a six-piece before becoming a quartet featuring Brian
Farrell, Ken Parry, Dave Dover and Terry McCusker. The band released the single
“Oh Happy Day” in 1969 through Disques Vogue. In 1971, the group issued its only
studio album, Oh, What a Lovely War, on the label Cadet Concept. The record
featured the song “Six Day War”, which is the band's best-known track. The
